Thailand is one of the most extraordinary freshwater fishing destinations on earth — and the species list is the reason why. Nowhere else in the world can you walk up to a lake and realistically target an Arapaima the size of a man, a Giant Mekong Catfish that could fill a bathtub, a hard-charging Amazon Redtail Catfish, and a surface-smashing Giant Snakehead all in the same day. Bangkok's fishing parks and wild reservoirs hold an incredible mix of native Thai giants and exotic imported species that draw serious anglers from every corner of the globe. Whether you have one day or one week, a target species in mind or just an appetite for something extraordinary — Thailand will deliver. Here's what's waiting for you.
August 2015 Catch Report

This month kicked off with Su from Singapore visiting Palm Tree Lagoon and she had a great day. Species that Su landed includes Giant Mekong Catfish, Amazon Redtail Catfish, Chaopraya Catfish, and Rohu.

Right after Su visited Palm Tree, we had Jim from England visiting Jurassic Fishing Park and had a great half day where he called it a day after five quick fish including Siamese Carp, Amazon Redtail and Catla Carp.

Up next was James from Scotland who needed to fight the fish sitting down. Our plan was to find smaller species that would be manageable for James but the fish disagreed. James had three occasions that a fish fought him for over an hour. James ended up with eight fish, Siamese Carp, Mekong Catfish, Wallago Attu, Rohu, and Tambaqui.
